Everything in nature evolves. This process is usually slow, taking millions of years. But every couple hundred millennia or so, an entire species takes a giant leap forward. The most important part of determining the value of any advice is whether it inspires someone to actually take action. My partner, James, who is currently reading the book, has taken all of Jason Lincoln Jeffers' teachings to heart that he's read so far. As his partner, I've never been successful at convincing James to cut out sugar and it has been a funny bone of contention in our otherwise "healthy" household. But after reading in The Next Human about how toxic sugar is, James was convinced to go cold-turkey off sugar.
